Rose extract applications
For culinary purposes
Real rose extract has a bitter taste. It adds a very unique flavour to desserts and cakes. Puddings, breads and cakes are foods in which rose extract is often used. Other examples are teas, sauces, dressings, sorbets and drinks. A few drops of rose extract will add a memorable rose flavour to drinks such as lemonade.
Beauty products
Rose extract has a gentle antiseptic and soothing effect, making it ideal for all skin types, including acne-prone, dry, mature, sensitive skin. Rose extract can help to cleanse the skin and prevent skin blemishes. It also has anti-inflammatory properties that help minimize redness and soothe skin irritation.
How rose extract is produced
Our rose extract is made from fully grown Damask roses. Rose petals are harvested from late-flowering rose blossoms and subjected to an extraction process by trained florists to release the essential oil.
